Stephanie and Jeremy… Married!

Such a sweet and intimate wedding at Michler’s Greenhouse.   Congrats to Stephanie and Jeremy – thank you for having me be a part of your day!

Happy New Year (a little belated!)

Hi!  I am at an end of a blogging hiatus – sometimes life demands extra attention.  I hope you had a wonderful holiday season.   Mine was great and busy with family in town and two weddings in the last week of 2012 – whew!  Definitely a great way to start a new year!   Also, one of my main goals for 2013 actually came to pass in the very last days 2012 – I can’t wait to share and tell you more about it.  But now I’m realizing that I have to dream bigger for 2013 which is a pretty awesome thing.  13 is my lucky number (having been born on March 13th!) so I feel like this could be the year where everything comes together.  The last few years have been good, but definitely had a transitional feel to them.  But now I’m doing the thing that I’ve loved to do all along for my full-time job!  It’s been about five months since I’ve been on my own and I am so happy that I took that leap of faith.  Though it was scary (and still is sometimes) I wouldn’t have it any other way.  I am lucky to be surrounded by people who support my dream and I finally realized that the only thing holding me back was myself.

So, at the end of 2012 I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Stephanie and Jeremy.  They had a small intimate wedding at Michler’s Greenhouse and  I cannot say enough how awesome it was.  If you are ever in Lexington, you must go there.  Michler’s has been a greenhouse in that exact location since 1901 and it is amazingly beautiful.   Speaking of beautiful, Stephanie is a wonder to photograph (and Jeremy’s not so bad either!)  🙂  I’ll have a full blog up about them soon, but now I’ll leave you with this.
