I love this shot from Ethan and Lauren’s wedding yesterday.
I haven’t been keeping up with the blog lately, but I plan to remedy that soon! Happy Sunday!
I am so excited to share more from this engagement session! It was pretty epic, with the threat of rain (only a few drops came down), farm animals, a llama, Queen Anne’s Lace, a lovely couple… all of my favorite things! Amie and Zack can’t be any sweeter and I’m stoked for their wedding in September!
This is their sweet bulldog Louie – I think he had a good time! 🙂
I’ve been so distracted by my blog today! I’m going to change it permanently in October, but I’m going to try some different styles before I decide. If you have opinions I’d love to hear them!
I’m headed to Denver the day after tomorrow. I have a few shoots there and I’m really excited. I shot years and years of film in Denver and the city has changed so much since I’ve been there last. And the kids – I have a fear that all my friends’ kids will be taller than me!
But, while I am still here I’m also distracted by a photo shoot I did with a friend of mine, whose name also starts with an E. We had such a great shoot – I love Kentucky and all its country roads. So many great areas to shoot to get that antebellum, southern gothic vibe that I love.
I also shot some film, so I am anxiously awaiting its return. It’s been years, so I’m interested to see how it turns out. Hopefully I’ll have something to share with you!
I hope you have an awesome weekend!
Here in Kentucky the temperature has dropped to the 70-80’s and the school down the block has started their fall semester. But I can’t let go of summer just yet (one of the perks of being an adult, self-employed, and out of school!) I’m headed to my hometown of Denver on Sunday for a week and I’m so excited! Two more shoots and a wedding and I’m there (if only someone would pack for me.) I’m sure I will have a hipstamatic/instagram field day while I’m there so I’ll share some photos when I get home.
I’ll be coming home to autumn (and a crazy wedding season) I know… but right now I’ll hang onto summer as long as I can.
xoxo

We had quite the adventure in Jessamine County during Elizabeth and Clinton’s shoot! Run down barns, a little four wheeling, and ending up at First Vineyard.
It was a great evening, and not too too hot. I’m excited for their wedding in October – I had so much fun with them!
Thanks Elizabeth and Clinton for such a fun evening (and to Elizabeth’s sister Bekah who came along and helped with hair, outfit changes, and comic relief!) 🙂
